Challenge
"Sunshine Ink is a group of volunteer art aficionado's dedicated to identifying talented artists and transforming their talent into a sustainable business model independent of traditional gatekeepers to the art world."
We first worked with Sunshine Ink back in 2004 on the first iteration of their website. Since then, some positive changes have happened and it was time to revamp. The site – as well as the direction of the company – has taken on more of an artists' champion role. An advocate and portal role meant to be a sustainable and better alternative to the traditional way things work in the art world.
Solution
We worked closely with owner Lucas Klesch to create the new single-page website that will feature his and other Portland artists' various website links. The site features some jQuery goodness, a custom, sunshine-y design and it's all powered by a simple little CMS called MojoMotor.
