Montessori Institute Northwest

Our goal was to create a brighter, much more intuitive website that showed and explained the inner workings of MINW in a much better way. Our Principal started by taking a tour of their facility and got to know not only the staff, but how Montessori education in Portland is different than others. After that it was a matter of creating the perfect balance of bright colors (which are a recurring theme in Montessori education) and clear language. Perhaps the biggest challenge was integrating a smooth experience for workshop registrations and payments using PayPal as their payment processor, but we worked closely with them to nail the specs and give them the most appropriate solution.

MINW also needed a robust but easy way to manage their site in-house, so naturally we turned to ExpressionEngine (with several key add-ons) as it was the perfect fit for them. All said and done, this was a challenging and fun project to work on.
