Case Study

Although a relatively small website, Las Vistas Condominiums offers visitors important information about development of their condos in Puerto Vallarta, MX, including images of the condos as rendered prior to development and during development.

One of our objectives for this site was to create it so that it would not only inform, but present features of the condos visually. We accomplished this by the overall design which features one of the buildings and a sandy beach below, which in turn alludes to the fact that you get an ocean view from the condo units.

Because the condominiums are still in development at this time, it was important to have a record of development to help give visitors a further sense of what one might get for their money. We solved this by included a Flash-based photo gallery.

Lastly, because their previous site was designed entirely in Flash, our second objective was to make the website as search engine friendly as possible. By creating the site in HTML versus all Flash we were already helping search engine ranking. But in addition to that, we made sure the site has search engine friendly URLs, appropriate title, keyword and description tags, as well as streamlined code which of course features XHTML and CSS to separate presentation from content.
