First you need to create an FTP location, then you can upload your site using Microsoft Publisher 2007. Follow the steps below replacing the example details with your own FTP address, username and password:
To create an FTP location using Microsoft Publisher 2007:
- In Microsoft Publisher, from the File menu, click Publish to the Web.
- In the Publish to the Web window, click Tools, and then click Map Network Drive.
- In the Map Network Drive window, click "Connect to a network server"
- Click "Next" 2.
- Click "Specify the address of of FTP site"
- Enter your hostname in "Network address" box (eg. ftp.yourdomain.com)
- Uncheck "log on anonymously"
- Enter your username in the User name box (your username was provided when you signed up for your hosting account and should be the same as your cPanel username unless you are working with a new FTP account)
- Enter a name for this connect. (eg. my website name)
- Click Next.
- Click Finish..
To Upload Site Content Using Microsoft Publisher 2007:
- In Microsoft Publisher, from the File menu, click Publish to the Web.
- From the Save in list, click FTP Locations.
- Select the appropriate domain name.
- Double-click the folder where you want to publish your site.
- Click Save.
