Why stock photography sucks

By: Angie

Alright, stock photography doesn't suck. In fact, we use it on a fairly regular basis for client projects. Among its various advantages, it's a less expensive and more efficient way to get good photography for your site, brochure, poster, etc. But it's not ideal. At least it's not ideal for 95% of situations where photography is needed.

The problem is, most folks don't want to spend money on a good photographer to shoot what needs to be shot. And that's too bad. Hiring a photographer will not only give you the best shots of your products, building, what have you, a pro photographer will be shooting strictly for you / your business. In other words, it adds to your uniqueness and helps you stand out from the crowd that's full of your competitors.
