Secure form boo-boo

Earlier this month I was filling out a form for _something_. I actually don't remember what. But I was shocked to see this: ![Password Booboo](/assets/img/blog/password_booboo.jpg) Normally when you're asked to enter a password on a site (either during registration or login), the password field is covered by dots or asterisks. Why? For security, _especially_ if you're on a computer in a public place (such as the library or the computer lab at school). So it was rather discomforting to see this glaring mistake. It just screams amateur hour. Make sure your site doesn't do that.
