New business cards

Since we changed our name I obviously needed new business cards. They arrived today after 2 weeks of eager anticipation. I gotta say, these are perhaps the best cards we've had in the history of the company. 420 Creative business cards photo

It was a challenge though. I took me a better part of a month to brainstorm and come up with a design that not only is appealing, but that communicates the necessary information. This time I went for a white background for all the information that needed to be included (name, title, phone, etc.). To give the card more drama / contrast, the back is black with nothing but our logo in orange and white. 420 Creative business cards photo

It's a lot like a satin aqueous coating and can still be written on comfortably without a lot of smearing. And to give it an extra special somethin', the backside with the lone logo has been embossed and has a spot UV gloss on it. It's hard to see the spot UV on it unless it's at the right angle but it's a nice subtle touch. The embossing is really nice – so nice I *almost* wish I hadn't done the spot UV. I like them nonetheless. 420 Creative business cards photo

Don't know. That's a long way off though so we'll see! In the meantime, I'm really pleased with how they turned out. 420 Creative business cards photo
