We're ecstatic to announce that Montessori Institute Northwest (MINW) has chosen this little Portland web design studio (yes, us, 420 Creative) to completely redesign and develop their website from the ground up.
MINW is a non-profit Montessori teacher training center based in SE Portland and is affiliated with the longest-standing Montessori organization, the Association Montessori Internationale, founded by Maria Montessori.
Montessori is a method of education that is based on hands on learning, collaborative play, and self directed activity. In Montessori classrooms children make creative choices in their learning while the classroom and the teacher offer age appropriate activities to guide the process. Children work in groups and individually to discover people, places and knowledge of the world.
We're excited to get started and truly believe this is a brilliant opportunity to learn about MINW and Montessori education in general.
