Click Here is Bad

How often do you encounter something like this: > Click here to find out more! Yeah, pretty often, I'm willing to bet. Well, if your site is filled with links that say "click here" or anything similar, it's time to change. The links on your site should be meaningful and brief. Why, you ask? For starters, something like "click here" isn't much of a call to action. And if your site is meant to drive visitors to some sort of action, "click here" is too ambiguous. And then there's the issue of accessibility. I won't get into it, but "click here" doesn't gain you very many brownie points in the world of accessibility for the Web.
