Vacation and destination websites need a lot of one thing: photos. Even the best copy can't authentically convey what a destination is really like. Cathedral Mountain Lodge has this down pat.
I'm not a huge fan of the non-stop scrolling images in the middle of the page, but overall, this site does a great job of showing (rather than just saying) why Cathedral Mountain Lodge would be a great place to visit. Couple that with a clean look/feel on inner pages and pretty good typography, this site is one that other vacation and destination websites should look to as how it can be done.
