Awesome Design: Pencil logo

Logos that seem so simple at first glance but reveal deeper thoughts or concepts at second or third look are my favorite. The logo below by Reghardt Grobbelaar is probably in my top 10. When I first looked at this logo my initial, gut reaction was that it looked rather plain and boring. But barely a split second later I noticed the triangle and the wonderful implied lines and negative space that complete the logo without being obvious. It's absolutely brilliant. [ Found on LogoPond ]
