Like most Mac users, I love my Mac. So when it comes to Mac and Apple products, stores, and services that aren't from Apple itself, I pay attention. One store here in Portland that really stands out is MacForce. Their entire brand is inspiring but today I'm focusing on their logo:
Aside from the overall coolness factor, it's a well-designed logo that conveys their knowledge and service pretty clearly: out of this world. What really sets MacForce's logo (and brand) from similar stores (such as The Mac Store – not to be confused with the Apple Store) is that they've really made an effort to stand on their own despite the fact that their primary business is dependent on Apple products. And it has really worked for them. And that, my friends, is branding at its best.
