This Fieldrunners website isn't a site I would typically visit (and I don't even remember how I stumbled on it), but it's very well done.
Click image to view larger As far as the general layout goes there's nothing groundbreaking here. What's stellar about this site is the detail in the graphics of the site itself (and it still loads fast, mind you). Every single detail on the various pages contribute to the overall theme of the site and I'm willing to bet that as soon as a couple of those details are removed, the overall feeling starts to fall apart. The design of this site does a great job of making the content exciting and pulling you in. Nice work.
