Spotted on a local non-profit's site: That's not even the best part. This is: In case you're wondering what's wrong here it's the following: - Even if your site is being redesigned from the ground up, you should never take down your current/old one. It still has valuable information on it that visitors will appreciate. - These under construction things are straight out of 1996. They're just tacky. - Having one page telling visitors (i.e., prospective customers) that your site is under construction simply prompts them to move on to the competitor. - If your site was ranking at all on Google, chances are it will fall off. No content means no site in Google.
